A turnkey ground-mounted solar park of roughly 480 kWp on a former brownfield plot, paired with battery storage so generation can be shifted toward evening peak demand. We delivered the whole chain, from groundworks to energisation.
The brief
A sloping, previously disturbed site meant the mounting structures had to be set out precisely, and adding storage required the inverter and protection design to handle both charge and discharge cleanly.

How we did it
Groundworks
We set out the rows to the terrain and installed foundations and mounting structures suited to the recovered ground.
Array & storage
Panels, inverters and the battery system were installed and wired so storage charges from surplus generation.
Grid connection
Protection, metering and the connection to the network were completed in line with the operator's requirements.
Commissioning
We tested generation and storage together and handed the plant over with monitoring of both.
Outcome
The plant covers daytime demand and uses stored energy to reduce evening peaks, commissioned and handed over within a single construction season.
